MISSION: telecom cable, power cable, flexible pipeline and umbilicals laying; associated trenching operations and ROV support.
High tech vessel for the laying and repair of telecom submarine systems. Electric generation is by 4 Wartsila Diesel Generators, 3,240 Kw each, feeding: 2 azimuth propulsion thrusters 3,300 kW each, 1 retractable bow thruster 2,200 kW, two bow tunnel thrusters 1,600 kW each, laying machines and vessel general services.
Equipped with Makai Lay software and fully computer – based laying equipment. Cable load capacity up to 6,000 tons allows the laying of a transatlantic system in just one operation.
The vessel originally built for the laying of telecommunication submarine cable systems, can be fitted with equipment suitable to deliver full service installation of flexible pipeline, umbilicals and power cable and associated trenching operations for OIL&GAS and Energy applications.
Accommodation can be increased up to 120 crew and contractor personnel.
