RESOURCES - Cableship Certamen
MISSION: Submarine systems survey and inspection, ROV support and submarine telecom cable maintenance.
Certamen is a multi-purpose DP vessel equipped with Kongsberg SIMRAD SDP 11 and fitted out for ROV support, survey, inspection and submarine telecom cable maintenance.
Certamen is fitted with equipment for full offshore survey and BAS such as: towed Side Scan Sonar, hull mounted Multibeam and Sub Bottom Profiler, Sound Velocity profiler, sampling equipment and BAS tool. A workclass ROV can be armed with a full suite of survey and inspection instruments.
Electric generation is by 4 Fairbanks Morse 2,240 KW each feeding 2 fixed pitch main propellers, 2 bow tunnel auxiliary thrusters and 2 stern tunnel auxiliary thrusters .
Accommodation up to 66 crew and contractor personnel.
